East Sunrise Quilt Guild
Founded in 1981, the East Sunrise Quilt Guild is dedicated to learning, sharing, enriching, and preserving our quilting heritage as well as increasing our skills and knowledge through programs and workshops. This is accomplished through our Create & Share Quilts for Charities Program. By making and providing quilts to various organizations and hospitals within our community.
We dedicate 2 months a year to our Create & Share Quilts for Charities program. Members join together enjoying quilting for charity with friends. Additionally, our members make and provide quilts every month for our charities.
Our meetings are an all-day bring your machine and sew 9:30-3:30. Machine sew, hand sew or just come and hang out. Join our fun! Pack your lunch and stay for the day. We break at 12 o’clock for our general meeting which is an excellent time to turn the machines off and eat. Our programs are outlined in our newsletter which you will receive prior to the meeting. You may join in on the program or bring your own project. No quilting police allowed! After our general meeting, we have show and tell time which is everyone’s favorite
Along with programs and workshops, each year we have luncheon parties to enjoy the group camaraderie further. Guests are welcome! Come check us out!
